We start our website design process with an in-person meeting to meet the key project stakeholders and get an understanding of the project needs.  In this pow-wow meeting, we dive into your business needs discussing your vision and objectives and strategize how your website will support the mission.  We analyze your audience and competition and discuss how you will see your business will grow over the next few years.  This enables us to build a website that is flexible and can grow as you add on products and services.   As part of the Discovery Phase, we do research including studying customer feedback and Google Analytics and reviewing material that defines your industry.

Design

Our design phases for website development typically start with navigation development and a Site Map.  Spork’s web designers create the overall site structure that serves as the roadmap for pages. After the structure is developed, we focus on laying out the site’s aesthetic structure of the site as black and white user interface sketches.  These User Interface custom templates focus on the content & layout without the distraction of visual details.

Next, our design team develops the web site’s look & feel and personality.   We can follow any branding guidelines, or we can create an entirely new look for your website.  Our approach is to provide customers with two to three different directions, showcasing a variety o approaches.  Based on your feedback, we widdle the approaches down to a refined, cohesive design, and apply to the final layouts.
